Access to the data is requested with the Research Data Request Form in which you will need to describe the purpose of use of the data, your objectives and the data variables that you would like to study. The request form shall be scanned and sent to flavoria@utu.fi. Scientific research requests will be dealt with by Flavoria’s multidisciplinary scientific board and commercial research requests by Flavoria’s Director.

2. Intervention Study utilizing Flavoria’s Premises

The Research Team will have access to Flavoria’s lunch line, café and/or the multi-sensory research space Aistikattila® that are all suitable for conducting intervention studies. In this case the Project Agreement is made between the University of Turku and the Research Team and, if necessary, between the University of Turku and Flavoria’s Restaurant Operator, Sodexo, in case the intervention affects Sodexo’s workload.

3. Intervention Study utilizing Flavoria’s Data and Premises

The Research Team will have access to Flavoria’s long-term data and, depending on the agreement, Flavoria’s lunch line, café and/or the multi-sensory research space Aistikattila® and the data collected by My Flavoria® App.

Intervention practices will be agreed upon in a Project Agreement which, depending on the research set-up, is made between the University of Turku and the Research Team and, if necessary, between the University of Turku and Flavoria’s Restaurant Operator, Sodexo, in case the intervention affects Sodexo’s workload.

After the research

When the research has been concluded, the Research Team shall write a report about the usage of Flavoria’s data and any publications made. Scientific publications shall be sent to Flavoria’s Research Coordinator at flavoria@utu.fi prior to the preliminary inspection.
