Flavoria's Data Catalog: Metadata and descriptions of the collected data within the research infrastructure. The list is not comprehensive as more data may be collected during specific studies.

Cash Register Data

The cash register data from the restaurant and café consists of the information normally seen on customer receipts (price, type, time). The data is received real-time at the same time as the receipts are printed.

Data format is same as in ReceiptHERO.

Plate waste is attributed per meal (see above).
Total waste for unattributable waste is also measured.

My Flavoria App

The My Flavoria App can be used to identify study subjects via the use of app QR codes. Customers’ trays have RFID tags which can be linked via QR at cash register to the tray.

NOTE: QR codes alone can also be utilized at cash register to track study subjects.

Surveys can be conducted in any platform, but the supported platform is RedCap (UTU).
Surveys can be linked to the lunch line data or be triggered by the lunch line data.

Example surveys can be found inside the myflavoria app (feedback report in hamburger menu).

Grill Data

Real-time grill data is the same as in grill info screens at Flavoria and linked to the cash register data.
