Flavoria® Research Platform, University of Turku

Scientific research in a versatile lunch restaurant and multisensory environment

Flavoria® is a multidisciplinary research platform at the University of Turku. It offers a genuine lunch restaurant environment and a multisensory space for research setups related to food choices, health, sustainability, technology, consumer behavior, etc. The platform is coordinated by the Nutrition and Food Research Center at the University of Turku.

Flavoria provides the settings for conducting your research

Flavoria enables multidisciplinary research by offering three different environments for constructing research setups: a lunch restaurant equipped with intelligent lunch lines, a café, and a multisensory space called Aistikattila. In addition to the physical spaces, data collected from the lunch lines and café can also be integrated into the research set-ups. Flavoria’s expert team is there to support you in the research design.
