Developing Ketola Farm’s Direct Sales and Brand

In Ketola Farm’s challenge, participants will explore opportunities to strengthen the farm’s direct sales channels and brand identity.

Key questions to address include:

  • How can direct sales be designed to provide customers with an engaging, convenient, and inspiring experience while building a strong and distinctive brand?
  • How can the added value and unique qualities of the farm’s flour and grain products be communicated to customers in a clear and compelling way?
  • How can the brand and the added value of the mill products be defined consistently and differentiated from competitors?

The goal is to develop innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience, strengthen the farm’s market position, and highlight the value of locally and organically produced products.

Ketola Farm is a traditional family farm with a progressive outlook, located in Valkeiskylä, Vieremä, in the heart of Northern Savonia, Finland. Until 2021, the farm operated as a dairy farm, but when the next generation took over in January 2022, the business shifted its focus toward organic farming and diversified grain production.
